Finish carpenters make certain the work completed by a carpenter looks attractive and complete. Or, they may work with a client that needs to have his or her floor refinished so it can look revitalized and new. In either case, the finish carpenter smoothes out the wood in order to take out any imperfections that may be found in the wood. This may include using sanding equipment and scrapers as well as wood chisels and knives. They also coat the wood with polyurethane and varnish, which involves using rollers and brushers, in order to give it a finished look.
