If you are interested in working as a hospitality manager, you will need to get a minimum of an associate degree. With an associate degree, you will be able to find employment in a smaller hotel that does not offer a number of services. If you have relevant experience and a certificate in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality management, you might be able to earn a job in a smaller hotel as well. If you wish to find employment in a larger hotel chain or one that provides full-service, however, you will generally need to have a bachelor’s degree.
Regardless of the level of education you wish to pursue, there are approximately 800 facilities throughout the United States that offer programs for potential hospitality mangers. This includes junior colleges, community colleges, and universities.
