A master technician must be able to work with a variety of hand tools as well as with computerized equipment. With these tools, the master technician can perform routine inspections of vehicles in order to make sure everything is working in proper order. They can also use these tools to diagnose problems and to make necessary repairs.
In addition to being skilled with tools, a master technician must also be able to communicate effectively with customers and with other technicians. When the customer brings the vehicle in for inspection, for example, the master technician must be able to listen to the customer’s concerns in order to help determine what is wrong with the vehicle.
