Your duties after receiving an MBA will depend upon the type of business position you take. If you have a position as a chief executive officer, for example, you will meet regular with subordinate executives in order to make sure policies are being implemented and company goals are being met. If are employed as a chief information officer, on the other hand, you will be responsible for specifically overseeing the technical direction of the business and you will be a part of the executive team. You might also put your MBA to work by taking a position as an operations manager or general manager.
