CAREERS

While a law degree takes seven years to complete and requires passing a State Bar exam, those who want to work in the legal field may consider a career as a paralegal.  Paralegals do everything a lawyer does, short of practicing law; that is setting legal fees, giving legal advice and presenting cases in court.

If you're fascinated by the legal system, or like research, a well paying career as a paralegal may be a good choice.

School requirements to gain employment as a paralegal vary.  The most common is an associate's degree from a career college or community college.  A four year bachelor's degree is also available in paralegal studies.  Paralegal certifications are also available which only take a few months to complete.

The main responsibility of a personal fitness trainer is to instruct and coach both groups and individuals in various exercises and activities.  They must be able to help their clients assess their physical fitness level and encourage and help them set and reach their fitness goals.
Fitness trainers almost always work in physical fitness facilities, health clubs and fitness centers.  They work mainly within the health and recreation services industry.  Nearly five percent of fitness trainers are self-employed.  In 2002, approximately 263,900 fitness trainers were employed in the United States alone.

A career in personal fitness training generally requires either training or certification.  Both training and certification will give you the skills and knowledge you need in order to become a successful personal fitness trainer.  Certification usually takes less than two years and speeds job placement.

Detail, accuracy and client relation skills are key traits of pharmacy technicians.  If you possess this skill set and enjoy a flexible schedule, becoming a pharmacy technician offers a stable career path as medical demands in the United States continue to grow.

Several paths exist to become a pharmacy technician.  It is possible to learn on the job, but employers prefer pharmacy techs who have formal training and certification.
